My youngest doesn't know her letters as well as her sister did at her age.
I didn't eat scrambled eggs till my 30s because I decided they were gross without ever trying them.
My partner will almost certainly never consistently remember where his keys are.
I’m realizing that the metrics I choose define the success I see. And, the world keeps spinning regardless of which ones I pick.
What hangups can we let go of today so we can focus on what actually matters?
What would change if we measured differently?
I wrote the six sentences above in my journal back in February. And this week they are hitting home even more.
I formally launched the Rule Breaker website this week (rulebreaker.co - check it out!! 🥳)
I’ve easily written over 1,000,000 words these past five years to get to the ~1,000 on the site.
That feels slow. Almost glacial. Especially compared to AI-powered-get-your-site-live-in-6.34-minutes kind of progress.
And - I am reminding myself that my yard stick isn’t the yard stick of the hustle-tastic entrepreneurs out there.
I’m grateful for you coming along with me to this point and for all that will come.
Sending enoughness,
Jess
